Rivera, Uruguay

After an unforgettable week in Rivera, Uruguay, we left with hearts full of gratitude and new friendships that will last a lifetime. Our gracious host teachers welcomed us with open arms, not just into their classrooms, but into their lives, and we quickly bonded over shared meals and laughter. We also had the privilege of meeting countless students who eagerly shared their stories, their culture, and their beloved mate with us. This immersive experience, which allowed us to connect so deeply with the community, was made even more special by the incredible Fulbright scholars I got to share it with, creating a bond that will forever be a cherished memory.
